[Outsource:44570] Need: SQL Server DBA

-           SQL Server installations & Configurations including Cluster installs. Patching SQL Servers.

-           Experience in general Database Administration in SQL Server ( 2005 and 2008 ) on Windows 2003 and Windows 2008.

-           Hands on experience is using various SQL tools – SSMS, BIDS, SQL Profiler etc.

-           Hands on experience with SSIS.

-           Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, log shipping issues, connectivity issues, security issues etc.

-           Ability to detect and troubleshoot SQL Server related CPU, Memory, I/O, disk space and other resource contention.

-           Strong knowledge of backups, restores, recovery models, database shrink operations, DBCC commands, Clustering, Database mirroring.

-           Knowledge Managing database servers using policy based management.

-           Code migrations to different environments.

-           Experience in using third party tools like IDERA Compliance manager is a plus.

-           Knowledge of scripting using Windows Powershell, VB Script is a plus.

-           Basic working experience  with windows server, security delegation, SPNs, storage components.

-           Able to provide off hours support.

-           Strong communication skills.

-           Excellent team player and customer service.
