Detailed Info: to be designing, developing and testing the reporting needs of Compensation Accounting using OBIEE. Designing, developing and testing the reporting data model/architecture. Implement physical schemas for all layers of the data model. Map data elements of data sources into the domain data models. Establish star schema or related appropriate schema based on business process. Assist in all aspects of implementation of normalized relational and multidimensional data models. Participate in cross functional reviews/peer reviews as an author or reviewer of functional and technical specifications. Follow configuration and change management processes as defined by the project manager and in coordination with the configuration manager. Provide timely, complete and relevant input into schedule and planning for the implementation of the data warehouse. Identifies possible risks and solutions Coordinate with the functional and technical requirements team to understand requirements, provide feedback, and request clarification as needed. Work closely with clients and other IT development areas to gather requirements, manage their expectations, and provide project updates..
Development/Computing Environment: 5+ years of experience in OBIEE 10/11g. 4 - 7 years of demonstrable analysis and development experience in data modeling and architecture. Expertise in relational/multidimensional databases a must. Strong SQL skills, preferably Oracle. Graduate or Undergraduate degree in Computer Science. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment. Self-starter, self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision..
