We Need consultant for C++ Developer

Title           :  C++ Developer
Location    :  Shelton, CT
Duration   :  12 month
Rate            :   $60/Hr

 

Job Function:  Develop application components and testing tools under the direction of the team project lead.

 

2.Job Skills Required:  C++ in a Windows environment, TCP and UDP communications, ACE framework, multi-threaded applications, and SQL; Linux experience is a plus. 
3.Additional Information:  Experience with high-performance OLTP applications is preferred; knowledge of U.S. equity market data is a plus.

 

The biggest challenges is finding someone with experience on Windows Server and OLTP. There are plenty of individuals with windows experience building desktop / web apps / etc, that is not a fit for this position. The app currently processes hundreds of thousands transactions per second in ~ 4 milliseconds and is being enhanced to handle an increase in transaction rates and reduce latency. Below are the required skill sets ranked.

 

1.       C++ on Windows server
2.       Real-time OLTP
3.       TCP/UCP communications programming (nice to have)
4.       ACE library experience (nice to have)
5.       Market data experience (nice to have)
