Title: PowerBuilder Developer

Location: Boston, MA

Contract Duration: 1 Year (possibly longer)　

 

Job Description:

This position has primary responsibility for supporting the maintenance and enhancement of the System. 

This system utilizes a two-tier architecture comprised of a PowerBuilder front-end and an Oracle back-end.

The PowerBuilder Developer will provide day-to-day maintenance of the system; participate in regularly scheduled enhancements, and be a member of the team responsible for the design of a new replacement system.

 

Qualifications:

• Minimum of three years experience in the following areas is required:
• Power Builder 9/10 involving hierarchical designs of visual and non-visual objects
• Experience with Oracle Version 8i and 10g
• Highly self-motivated individual who has the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Customer-focus with ability to demonstrate outstanding customer service
• Ability to provide feedback and technical guidance on critical issues affecting business objectives.
• Ability to design, develop, test, support, maintain and debug software applications that support business units or support functions.
