Title: Project Manager/Business Analyst
Location: NYC
Duration: 6 months+

Our client is seeking a Project Manager/Business Analyst to assist business transformation Program Manager with project management and business analyst activities.

 

This position will be working under the direction of a business transformation Program Manager.

 

At least 2 years of hands-on Project Management experience demonstrating the following skills:
- Engage internal business clients to understand their business objectives and translate them into delivery plans.
- Establish positive working relationships with customers, stakeholders and team members.
- Facilitate business requirements gathering and documentation
- Develop and maintain MS Project project schedules.
- Follow established project management practices including management of scope, requirements, issues, and risks.
- Track project costs and benefits
- Report status, issues and risks according to PMO processes and schedule
- Ensure that all required project deliverables are created and kept up to date
- Prepare documentation for governance gate approvals.
- Analytical skills to gather data and information, consolidate and draw conclusions
- Able to interpret intangible concepts and ideas into logical, detailed plans
- Experience if both business process improvements and technical projects

 

Technical Skills:
- VISIO (Advanced) - MUST
- MS Project (Intermediate)
- Excel (Intermediate/Advanced)
- Word (Intermediate/Advanced)
- Powerpoint (Intermediate/Advanced)
- Take notes/arrange meetings/basic logistics
