Position: PM with Financial Front/Middle/Back office experience
Start: 3/1/11
Contract Length: 12 months plus

More than 10yrs experience in financial industry, particularly in the trading operations middle and back-office.

Candidate must have 7+ years of project management and 10+ years experience in financial industry, particularly in the trading operations middle and back-office. Strong negotiation and communication skills are required. Candidate must be familiar with SDLC and Agile. Also, experience with .NET and Java EE, messaging, and distributed computing environments a big plus.

The candidate will be managing multiple projects. The selected candidate will be managing the vendor, outsource development vendor, internal IT professionals, business representatives from the front, middle, and back office.

 

Has expertise in managing all phases of systems development from concept through implementation and maintenance.

Overall responsibility for structuring a project, performing the detailed planning, and managing project execution and completion of moderate or large projects

Defines the phase deliverables, tracks milestones and incurred expenses versus planned expenses, schedules role sand resources, evaluates risks and recommends contingency plans Manages the development of the technical strategy

Assigns resources and tasks, and manages quality assurance, resolution of issues, status reviews and reporting, development of standards, change control, customer support, and compliance with all policies and procedures. Able to facilitate workshops such as JAD, RAD and DRP sessions
