Senior Siebel Developer for a long term position in Huntsville,
Alabama.
• Candidates must have Siebel configuration & development experience
to meet the requirements of the Job Description provided below.
• Excellent Communication Skills are required
• No travel required
• Face-to-face interviews preferred, however a phone &/or Skype
interview may be acceptable if required due to candidate's current
location/residence

Job Description
Individual will be responsible for configuration and development of
customizations on a global Siebel CRM system. This includes the base
Siebel Service platform in addition to the Partner Portal and the
Oracle self-service product, E-Support, for the customer portal.
Individual will be responsible for taking a lead role on development
initiatives. In particular, leadership on development initiatives
related to EAI will be required. Individual will be second line
support on a 24x7 system used by hundreds of employees and thousands
of customers and will interface directly with users to provide quick
resolution to critical support issues.

Position will provide technical guidance to a team of Siebel
developers to provide the optimum solution to highly complex
problems. Individual will play key role in upgrades and new
implementations of Siebel.

Job Requirements
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT or other relevant technical
field is required.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience with Siebel configuration is
required.
• Experience needed with Siebel configuration items such as workflow,
tools configuration, scripting, visibility model, search engine, email
response, communication server, business services, web services, EAI,
EIM, and reporting.
• Individual must be advanced in some of these areas.
• Experience with Java development is preferred.
• Database experience is preferred.
Also, experience with Oracle Application Server and Linux is
preferred.

Individual must be able to work under limited supervision and must
have strong communication skills in order to work directly with
customers and peers. Individual must be a team player and may be
required to lead a team of Siebel developers. Adherence to change
control processes is required. Good documentation skills are
expected. Extensive originality, ingenuity and independent judgment
and a sizable degree of self-direction and decision-making are
expected.
