Hi All,

 

Client is looking for Oracle PL/ SQL developer with Jasper knowledge in Charlotte NC- Ballantyne area. 3 months to start - could go longer. Please keep the rate low. MUST HAVE very good communication skills.

 

Only phone interview. Start date 4/4 or 4/11- no later

 

Required Skills:

 

Strong in PL-SQL some Jasper knowledge, Oracle, Netezza, Knowledge of Java and ChartFx.

 

Current Development Team:

 

The team is using the scrum (agile) software development methodology for developing the product.  The team conducts a one day planning session before the 7-9 day development cycle.  Developers are engaged in the planning effort.  The team is structured with 10 personnel: 5 Developers, 1 business analysts, 2 Testers, a Scrum Master and a Manager.

 

Ideal Candidate Skillset:

 

The SMI project will use SQL and PL/SQL for movement of data with Oracle and Netezza.  Experience with JasperReports and iReport is needed for modification and creation of reports.  Java and ChartFx will be used to produce charts for the reports. Modifications to existing Ab Initio code for calculations.  (Note: Mandatory skill set is listed in bold font )   

 

Job Descriptions:

 

Responsible for developing, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining a high business priority application. Software developers design, code, test, debug, document programs, participate in code reviews.  Developers will work closely with other developers and business analysts in defining or refining requirements for system design.  Developers may pair program on complex issues and become involve in the deployment of the application to the different environments.  Developers are expected to have sufficient depth of experiences in frontend and backend technologies such that they can move through the application with the different work assignments.
