Position: ETL Data stage Architect

Location: NJ

Duration: 4-6 months

 

Responsibilities:

. Develop etl jobs using data stage.

.Write and tune sql in db2

. Develop stored procedures in db2.  Experience writing stored procedures in another data base platform is ok.

. Manage the change management process for the project.

. Work with the dba, quality control, and infrastructure groups when support is required.

. Work with the data analyst on data model issues. A thorough understanding of data modeling is important.

 

Qualifications:

. Seven to ten years as a data warehousing developer. Data Stage.

. Seven to ten years of data base development and tuning experience. DB2, Oracle, or Teradata.

. Five to six years of unix scripting experience.

. Five + years of data modeling experience.

. Excellent communication skills, lead discussions, good presentation skills.

. People person, good interpersonal skills.
