Required Skills/Experience  (Skills that the successful candidate(s) must have) The ETL lead will be a strong technologist with excellent data analysis and ETL architecture/design/development skills, as well as the ability to lead small teams and work comfortably with others. The candidate must have the ability to develop into a subject matter expert across the department for ETL.

Minimum 8 to 10 years overall experience, including not less than 5 years in ETL design and development using Microsoft SQL Server and SSIS. Hands-on experience with all aspects of architecting, designing, developing, testing and implementing ETL solutions
Experience with designing and implementing data staging, including staging database design and staging logic
Experience with designing the ETL process, including data read/write, filtering and merging, data transformations, error handling, process design and logging
Experience with code promotion across environments (dev/test/prod)
Good knowledge of data modeling and designing databases
Good knowledge of metadata, and using/managing metadata
Good knowledge of creating test data
Good knowledge of SQL Server (TSQL, data types, Enterprise Manager, error handling)
Nice to have: Experience with ETL from mainframe data (IMS/DB)
Should have: Experience with SSIS (this will be the main ETL technology, and the candidate must be able to take on the responsibility to deliver the solution using SSIS)
