Java Architect
Location: in Atlanta, GA
Duration: 8+ month
Must be an architect, not a lead developer.
We are looking for a Lead Technical Application Architect to help drive selection of frameworks/APIs, code review practices, coding standards, etc and work with the business and technical teams to assure the application is performing efficiently and effectively.
Tasks:
- Work with business and functional leaders to gather requirements
- Create technical design plans and architecture
- Work with developers to assure that the plans are carried out to spec
- Provide technical guidelines and coding practices for the system
Requirements:
- 5 years as a Technical Architect
- 10+ years of Java development
- Proven architectural leadership
- Strong Java, OOA/OOD, Service Based Architecture Design
- Spring, Hibernate, JMX, JUnit, Tomcat
- Great communicator
Nice to have:
- Telecommunication application design
- SOA and web services
