Position: SUN IDM Architect
Location: Norwalk, CT/ NYC / Cincinnati, OH
Duration: 6+ Months
Architects with the ability to translate vision to sound practical solutions. Applicants should be able to show demonstrated
ability in providing advanced technical expertise on systems design and implementation. The IdM Architect will be primarily
responsible for architecting IdM Solutions to solve highly complex business problems and interacting at various levels of
management.
Applicants must have a minimum of 6 - 8 years of overall IT experience with minimum of 4 years experience in designing and
developing solutions using Sun (Waveset) Identity Manager and other products within Oracle Identity suite.
The ideal candidate should bring strong management and coordination skills to the table and is expected to keep up-to-date
with trends and new developments in the industry and relevant communities. This is a highly visible role with immense
opportunities to work with cutting-edge technology and to interact with senior level management within a multifaceted
organisation.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Responsible for assuring the technical vision is realized through guidance, mentoring and governance of application
development teams.
* Act as a bridge between the business subject matter experts and technology implementers.
* Provide support/guidance to the development teams during the analysis and development processes.
* Provide expert knowledge of application architecture, and consult business and technology teams when application
architecture knowledge is needed.
* Facilitating effective meetings and distilling the information delivered into a vision that can be interpreted by technical
and non-technical resources.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
* Must have 6 - 8 years of overall IT experience in a software development environment.
* Minimum of 4 years experience designing and developing solutions using Sun (Waveset) Identity Manager and other products
within the Oracle Identity suite.
* Experience building resource adapters, integrating role-based access control, end-user provisioning, and synchronization
services with existing internal or external application systems.
* Experience with architecting working with multiple groups in designing IdM solutions.
* Creativity and ability to think outside-the-box while defining sound and practical solutions.
* Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills are a must.
Travel within the domestic US is required.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: Bachelors Degree, or equivalent work experience, in Computer Science or related field preferred
