Location: Brea, CA
Position: OBIEE Developer
Duration: 6 Months

The OBIEE Developer Incumbent provides technical consulting support on Oracle Business Intelligence projects and/or the Business Intelligence environment including BI Publisher, Informatica and DAC applications. The individual evaluates, develops, tests, and consults on pilots and implementation projects to ensure that the OBI application meets customer expectations.

• Subject matter expertise with the out-of-the-box RPD objects for the pre-built analytical applications version 7.9.5 or 7.9.6
• Create logical star schemas
• Design, build, test, implement and maintain any new or modified RPD objects or ETL mappings for the analytics applications (OBI Apps)
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for all new or modified RPD objects
• Prepare and maintain documentation for all new or modified RPD objects and ETL mappings
• Prepare Code Migration requests using automated code migration tool
• Participate in design of new data warehouse tables as needed
• Design and conduct unit tests of new or changed RPD objects
• Interact with business units to understand their needs and design appropriate RPD objects
• Participate in performance testing and tuning
• Set up Delivers iBots to support the needs of the end users
• Develop expertise in BI Publisher development and support end userÂ's efforts to use this reporting tool
• Provide internal consulting assistance to the report writing teams
• Participate in the implementation of any OBIEE product upgrades

Prepare status reports for all assigned work Ideal Skill Requirements:

The person filling this role will be primarily responsible for designing and developing for OBIEE and Informatica projects. for this position should have:

• 7 years experience designing data warehouses, particularly the meta-data
• 5 years experience configuring Oracle BI (RPD)
• 2 years experience working with a MUD environment
• 2 Years experience working with the OBI Apps
• 5 years experience configuring and tuning Informatica ETL applications
• 2 Years experience configuring and tuning the DAC 2 Years developing in BI Publisher
