Position: Project Manager

Location: NJ

Job Description:

Responsible for the integration, planning and coordinating of labor,material and other resources to assure timely and cost effective completion

of all IT project work. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

* Provide direction and technical expertise to project teams and project managers to complete assignments on time and within budget.

* Assist PM's in developing and managing scope, cost estimates and schedules for all IT projects.

* Develop and coordinate short and long term integrated schedules utilizing IT resources and other external resources.

* Administer the methodology and procedures for tracking and reporting on all IT projects and train and oversee Project Managers compliance in the

implementation of these procedures.

* Administer the resource planning, allocation and assignment of IT resources to assure a balance workload across projects and programs.

* Prepare executive status reports showing status of all IT projects from a cost and scheduling viewpoint.

* Develop, track and maintain all project plans based on the project objectives defined. Capture, track, analyze and report the accuracy of plan,

forecast and actual variances to achieve defined performance objectives.

* Evaluate alternative cost benefit analysis on various projects to determine optimum approach to perform work.

* Identify project risks and negative trends and recommend corrective action. Manage small to medium projects when required.

* Required Skills, Competencies, Education or Experience:

 

* BS in Management, Accounting, Computer Science or equivalent; * Excellent

working knowledge of SAP Project Systems, * Practical experience in IT

Project work, * Excellent working knowledge of PC based programs such as MS

Project, Word, Excel, and Access * 2-4 years cost & scheduling experience.

Desired Skills, Competencies, Education or Experience:

 

* Experience working as a project manager, knowledge of SAP FI/CO Comments
