Position: Project Manager III

Location: Florham Park, NJ

Duration: 6 Months

 

Duties              

Responsible for managing the EVO Project, including cost, resources, time & schedule. Prior experience with Novartis GIS projects would be of advantage,

GIS SharePoint Site technology, GIS document conventions, MS Projects according to GIS PMO standard, ICE Silver certification.

 

Knowledge would be of advantage in virtual application/desktop, citrix, virtualization technologies.

 

Enhanced Virtual Operations (EVO) is a global GIS Service providing engineering and operational support for virtual application / virtual desktop based delivery

 

Utilizing enterprise class, industry standard Citrix and top-tier complimentary virtualization technologies

 

EVO's ultimate goal is to meet the bring-your-own 'Device' challenge and to allow NVS to be more dynamic and efficient in its desktop computing strategy

 

EVO is re-defining how we work – a holistic view of desktop/device based services

General tasks: Plan, direct, co-ordinate and manage one or more projects within EVO program within the constraints of scope, quality, time, and cost, to deliver specified requirements Plan and maintain systems and procedures for operating efficiency Manage project team members for optimum performance Projects may be strategic in nature Coordinates and interacts with other project team members Ensures all project requirements and/or objectives are documented

 

Skills              

Expertise in running medium to large scale global projects; excellent understanding of project management processes and procedures; experience

with project management and analyst methodologies and best practices; strong analytical skills; business process development best practices, change management; strong MS Project, MS Word, Visio, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel skills; understanding of systems for sharing and collaboration; excellent communication skills to work with cross-program/project resources.
