Description:

 

Systems Administration Senior

 

Candidates will be required to help provide regular day-to-day support of existing environments including but not limited to OS patching, disk and logical volume management, troubleshooting, and implementation of change records.  Additionally, support of customer base and application teams will be required.

 

This is in support of a Data Center migration where net new servers will be built to accommodate the relocation of applications.

 

Competencies:

 

Must have 6yrs of experience in RedHat Linux 5.x 

Must have 6yrs of experience in Solaris 10  

Must have 6yrs of experience in AIX6

Must have 6yrs of experience in HP Blades servers ( C7000 chassis BL460c)

HP standalone servers (DL380, etc...)

VMware

Sun E25k

VCS 5.1 (Veritas Cluster Server)

Filesystems/Volume Management (Linux LVM, AIX LVM and Veritas VM)

Ability to troubleshoot software/hardware issues

Experience in production 24/7 environments

Change Management experience
