Position: ETL Data Warehousing/BI consultant with Oracle & PL/SQL

Location: Herndon, VA

Duration: 6 months plus

Rate: $50/hr 

Responsible for gathering requirements, system analysis, software design (data modeling), development, testing and implementation of software. 

Works with end users and other applications to gather requirements and identify impacts.

Assists in designing for the data warehouse initiatives by providing best practice solutions.

Provides leadership and assistance to other software developers.

REQUIRED SKILLS: 

Over 7 years experience in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence.

Proficient in Oracle, PL/SQL and Unix.  

Strong conceptual, communications and technical skills.

Strong relational and dimensional data modeling and database design skills.

Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements.

Knowledge of BI tool architectures, functions and features.

Understanding of SQL and relational and multidimensional designs.

Self-starter who resolves technical issues and problems by referencing external sources.

Experience with OLAP tools preferred.

Excellent communication skills, documentation skills, organizational skills.  

B.S. degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
