Title: GMI Project Manager

Location: NY city, NY

Job Description:

• Project management for new exchange initiatives that affect the GMI system
• Trade staff and document instructions on new procedures and new initiatives
• Work on enhancements and enrichment requests for upstream and downstream for clients with information from GMI
• Review project requirements to ensure there are no gaps in testing and implementation.
• Liaison and write spec with GMI IT for proper testing and enhancement requests
• Able to help users understand the functionality within GMI in relationship to LDO requirements
• Research and assist in any problems or issues within GMI LDO operations for day to day support to determine if it's a setup issue or a GMI bug before sending issue to GMI IT or SunGard
• Assist in any adhoc requests within GMI for users such as queries or GMI functionality
• Proficient in GMI subsystem: Comm/Fees, GL, Name and Address, Class setup, Exchange, Product, PCS, Large Trader, Margin, File Copy, Interest, Trade load
• Proficient in In-House System: TDR, LDM, Client downstream
• Manage global strategic projects
• Work with global change team
• Project delivery
• Day to day support of futures operations
• Ability to multitask
• Capable of working in a high stress environment
• GMI
• 4yr college degree
• Financial background
• Knowledge of financial products
• Microsoft office literate
• IROC rules and regulations
• CDCC rules and regulations
• Knowledge of GMI
• Knowledge of Clear Vision

Knowledge of MTM
In-depth knowledge of back office operations and flow between exchange, Clearing Firm, GMI vendor system and in-house systems
