Java Developers-2 positions

Location Rochester, NY

Length 4-5 months

 

This is an immediate requirement and the candidate should have Sr. Java capabilities with at least 10 years experience.

 

Minimum:

· Very literate and capable in Java Development, including j2ee; Must have experience interfacing with the Java Subject and building Java Principals for managing identities and their properties.

· Strong expertise in web service development, including design, implementation, and manipulation of web service handlers, jaxb, code level xml libraries and interfaces. Versed in SOAP, SOAPHandler, SOAPMessageContext, Generics, java annotations, …

· Fluent with the use of a Java Development IDE; a self starter

· Capable of readily deciphering legacy code to understand the necessary logic and, where necessary, implement changes

· Strong initiative, self learning, creative

 

Preferred: Minimum requirements +

 

· Good practical knowledge of Weblogic Application Server, particularly its security framework. Capabilities in implementing various Weblogic Provider interfaces, as well as configuring Weblogic to use those implementations

· Familiar with the Weblogic deployment tools enough to write deployment objects and tasks for simplified release of implemented web service and security artifacts.

· Team player with advanced communication skills; highly interactive; decision making based on an understanding of fundamental principals (including all mentioned above) and sound logic.

Web Service Development

WSDL Definition and Creation

XML support tools

· WS-Federation/WS-Security/WS-Trust interfaces or if they don't have this experience some experience with either of the following. 1) We need to find somebody whose major focus over the last couple of years (at least) has been the development of JAX-WS web services, including the securing of those services.  2) Preferred, also, would be experience with the Weblogic Fusion Middleware, at the programming level, particular the Security Provider Interface. Having the #2 requirement would be ideal, but we need at least #1.

 

· Familiar with a Java IDE

· JAAS experience

· Oracle experience would help

· Webapp/web service development and deployment on Weblogic

· Weblogic administration console experience

· Configure J2EE components in Weblogic

· Weblogic Security Provider Interface
