Informatica Developer with financial industry experience.

Location: Westlake, TX(Local only)

Duration: 6+month contract,

 

 

Responsibilities:

·        Act as primary technical resources on the Oracle 11g Upgrade project

·        Assist in the technical design of solutions needed as a result of the Oracle 11g Upgrade project with respect to ETL using Informatica and other ETL tools

·        Perform hands-on development of code and processes to meet requirements

·        Provide technical guidance and coordination to other team members

·        Create technical documentation

·        The creation of testing and acceptance plans

·        Provide suggestions for solutions and technical improvements

·        Assist with the implementation and monitoring of solutions

 Qualifications

·        At least 3 years' experience within the IT field, financial services, or related environment providing development and support for medium to large applications or projects in a complex, technology-based business

·        Excellent written and oral communication skills, both with customers, technical team members, and other technical contributors across the organization

·        Experience with creating technical documentation

·        Must be an organized, self-starter with a collaborative work style, customer service focus, and ability to multitask

·        Ability to provide basic coordination of small development groups

·        Proven mastery with Informatica PowerCenter 8.x and above

·        Experience with basic Data Warehousing practices

·        Solid knowledge of Oracle SQL and database tuning concepts

·        Database query and Business Intelligence tools & methodology knowledge preferred

·        Experience with data modeling concepts

·        Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills

·        Full project life cycle experience

·        BA/BS degree or equivalent is preferred

·        Experience with MS Office (MS Word, Excel, Outlook) products

·        Informatica PowerCenter 8.* and 9.*

·        Oracle

·        Unix Scripting

·        Control-M knowledge is a plus
