Job Description
This is a business facing role which liaises with Chief Security Office group so we seek analysts who are adept at dealing with stakeholders across all business units and at all levels specific to Identity and Access Management or Information security technologies. You role as a Process Analyst is to understand, map, document and manage process change into the Process estate. You must be able to Analyze, plan, estimate, coordinate and implement change across the board in systems, processes and channel functionality.
Business Analysis experience is a must, especially if you have Telco experience
Experience with business analysis methodologies, processes and documentation standards
Analyze and scope the area of analysis, working with project managers and business sponsors to clarify the level and complexity of the business analysis effort needed for the project.
Select the appropriate elicitation technique to efficiently identify critical requirements.
Analyze and refine business and functional requirements.
Identify the five core components necessary to analyze a business area.
Plan an approach for analyzing, categorizing, and managing requirements.
Determine the level of formality required and consider options for documenting and packaging requirements based on project type, priorities, and risks.
Identify techniques and documentation options appropriate for various of software development approaches and project types (COTS, maintenance, business process improvement, new development, etc.).
Define testing objectives and verify requirements are testable.
Conduct effective requirements reviews to improve the quality of requirements deliverables.
Build strong relationships with project stakeholders.
Apply new communication strategies for eliciting and interacting with virtual teams.
Anticipate issues, think proactively, and use critical thinking skills to plan stakeholder elicitation sessions.
Provide governance and advice to the business stakeholders
Prepare business cases, work on functional specifications and have an ongoing communication with project managers
Strong knowledge and experience with business requirements management and development methodologies and best practice standards (Agile, BPMN, UML etc.)
You will lead in the translation of business requirements and product specification into fit for purpose processes/ process chains and ensure that trace ability to requirements is maintained (or established through analysis of specifications and comparison with current mode of operation).
With your demonstrated experience leading required analysis activities and with broader experience with process re-engineering e.g. modeling and simulation techniques you will be second to none and succeed in this role.
Reviewing technical requirements and preparing technical specifications and proficient in use case design
