Practitioners of the IT Application Development profession primarily focus on providing high quality, cost effective information technology solutions to business partners by creating new or modifying and/or supporting existing software applications. Associates are expected to design, code, analyze, configure, unit test, and maintain applications.
Top-level technical expert in one or more highly specialized phases of applications programming. Provides technical consulting on complex projects. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation. Has full technical knowledge of all phases of applications programming.
•Responsible for Java/Grails/Groovy Development, program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation of a Litigation Management Front End Application.
•Work with Project Architect and Business Analysis team to design the architecture including database design.
•Work with Business Analysis Team on daily basis to schedule workload, programming effort and resolve any issue.
•Work with Development Staff on code review and walk through.
•Has full technical knowledge of all phases of applications programming.
•Participate in Project team meetings.
•Provide Project team weekly Status reports.Behavior Characteristics:
Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, mathematics or related field is strongly preferred.
