Job Duration: 6 Months
Location: Atlanta, GA,  

 

We are looking for a senior .Net developer who will lead parts of the design and development of a new .Net web application.

 

The developer must have strong experience in the design aspect of application development.

 

The core responsibilities are:

 

Perform as a technical lead in the design, development, coding and testing of new web application software.

Work with technical and business team members to design and implement medium to complex business solutions.

Mentor new team members on design and development tasks.

 

Conduct code reviews and other quality assurance steps.

Estimate time and work effort to build and stabilize systems for new projects, enhancements, and maintenance according to specifications, and contributes to the project plan/schedule.

Troubleshoot and ensure timely and effective resolutions of any project issues.

Prepare documentation on all phases of development

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

 

Bachelors of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Mathematics

Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience or formal training with one or more programming languages or software packages in a client server .NET environment.

Strong understanding of and demonstrable experience with OOAD and Domain-Driven Design

Strong understanding of and demonstrable experience with IoC and mocking frameworks

 

Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft .Net development platform (C#, WCF, ASP.Net, MVC3, Visual Studio 2010, etc?)

Excellent problem solving skills

Advanced understanding of full life cycle development.

 

Technical Qualifications:

 

5+ years: .NET / C# / Visual Studio

5+ years: Design Patterns

2+ years: Unit Testing frameworks (i.e. NUnit, MS Testing Framework, NMock or equivalent)

3+ years: Web Services, WCF

3+ years: Experience w/ Source Control (i.e. Clear Case, Subversion, CVS, GIT, etc?)

3+ years: SQL Server
