Hi all we are looking for an "Oracle developer"

Location: Keene, NH

Duration:  6 Months Contract

Contractor

 

The primary purpose of this position is to apply solutions to business problems through the design and programming of applications. The Developer work independently on the maintenance of existing programs and works on detailed specification elements of large, complex installations. The developer demonstrates broad exposure to all aspects of application development including analysis techniques, testing, debugging, documentation standards, file design, storage and internal applications.

Responsibilities:

Develop high complexity applications involving the B2B EDI documents exchange and Test and debug application programs. Interpret and translate business specifications into technical specifications. Make technical recommendations on designs as well as technical improvements. Create and/or update user and applications documentation. Testing to/from Internal/External Trading partners over various TCP/IP protocols. Create and Modify translation maps per requirements.

 

Qualifications:

 Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.

 Developer is expected to have 5 + yrs of experience in Oracle SQL/PLSQL and oracle database.

 Prior experience integrating EDI documents with Trading partners ERP systems..

 Any experience with Java, J2EE is highly desired, prior distribution (WMS) or retail distribution experience is highly desired

 Prior experience integrating a homegrown WMS system with Trading partners ERP systems

 Ability to work independently and good communication skills (both oral and written); good time management skills
