SAS Programmer
Work Location : Rahway, NJ and Lansdale, PA.  We would prefer them to work at the NJ location.
Duration : 6-12 Months+ Contract
Rate : Market

We MUST have a consultant with a pharmaceutical and clinical background. 

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:
-Strong SAS Programming Skills
-Pharmaceutical Industry Experience

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Develops standard SAS program modules for specific statistical analyses which produce tables of summary statistics and/or analysis results that can be integrated into Clinical Study Reports (CSRs), special reports, presentations, etc.
-Writes programs to analyze data with statistical methods which are not currently available through commercial software packages.
-Develops tools to retrieve data from available databases and place data into SAS or other types of data files.
-Works closely with lead statistician for a project to define the analysis datasets and analysis programs required.
-Provides analysis datasets through the use of programs which carry data forward, determine protocol violators and valid data points, restructure datasets, etc.
-Coordinates the organization and storage of all programs, datasets and output for particular drug projects.
-Supports the coordination of activities and resources required for definition, development, execution and delivery of all reporting deliverables for drug and/or vaccine projects, typically at a protocol level.
-Accountable for leveraging the use of standards to maximize efficiency and consistency within and across assigned projects. Ensures reports and analysis package is available in a timely manner.
-Owns validation documentation.
-Ensures adherence with departmental SOPs and guidelines.
