Job Title: Java Architect

Location: SFO, CA

Duration: 6 Months+

Skills:

• At least ten years of experience in development, implementation, and maintenance of large systems, preferably across multiple hardware and software platforms.
• Candidate should be strong on Core Java  and Spring. Also candidates must be expertised with Serialisation Skills and Web Services with long term architectural perspective working closely with the eCommerce development organization and implementations through to production systems.
• Demonstrated competency designing systems and/or processes that provide efficient, effective solutions to diverse, complex problems.
• Familiarity with web technologies (TCP/IP, HTTP, HTML, CSS, XML, SMTP, JavaScript)
• Strong object-oriented design and development skills (Java, C , etc)
• Familiarity with Java technologies and frameworks (such as J2SE/J2EE, the Spring framework, OSGi)
• Experience with web information architecture, including REST architectural principles.
• Experience with eCommerce applications and/or support services.
• Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking, communication, and leadership.
