Position: Network Engineer & Linux Engineer

Location: CA (Prefers Local candidates)

Face-to Face interview is required.

Duration: 6+Months

 

Linux Admn – Prerequisites.

 

Functional Competencies:
Experience & Desired Skills:
• 5+ years of Linux systems experience.
o 5+ years of system administration experience with Linux/Solaris.
o 2+ years of systems design/architecture experience.
• Solid experience with RHEL 4 & 5. Knowledge of SUSE also desirable.
• HP & Sun hardware, high end server experience a plus
• Expertise in administration of server services - Authentication (NIS, AD, LDAP, SingleSignOn), RHN Satellite & Proxy Servers and DNS.
• Advanced Veritas Volume Manager (VxVM) experience required; and VERITAS Cluster Server (VCS), LVM or other High-availability service.
• ECommerce active/active site build, design and failure point analysis experience.
• Experience in a large (1000+) server environment.
• Ability to document project designs.
• History of progressively complex project management experience.

Network Engineer:

 

Experience:

• 4+ years Network Administration experience.
• Expert knowledge in Networking and Security fundamentals
• Ability to document project designs.
• Ability to create details network diagrams
• History of progressively complex project management experience
