Java Technical Lead/Architect
Work Location : Horsham, PA
Duration : 12 Months+ Contract
Rate : Market
Location : Horsham, PA( Occasional travel required to Ashburn, Virginia)
Key SKILLS: Web Services integration using Spring, SOAP, REST.
Mandatory
9+ years' experience
Strong hands on experience in Java, J2EE.
Working knowledge of XML, SOA, Web Services and related technologies.
Prior experience working on SI projects involving 3rd party integration
Strong knowledge on J2EE Design Patterns
Experience working with Maven, Hudson, CVS
Experience working on relational databases Oracle
Experience with caching and producing highly available applications is also desirable.
Preferable
experience with Ad-insertion in video & SCTE standards would be a big plus.
Prior work experience in online advertising or media industry is a strong preference
Experience in Cross Module Testing / System Integration & deployment
Experience in the entire software development life cycle including design, development, and maintenance of a commercial product.
Knowledge of the following is desirable: Linux IBM Websphere, Spring, Eclipse IDE.
Proven creative problem solver with ability to work in a hyper-changing environment
Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
Candidates having worked in Greenfield / startup environment
Strong 3rd part software configuration/integration experience-need to provide examples
Large scale deployment experience with Examples
Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams across all levels of the organization
Project Details:
The primary goal of this position is to hands on Design & develop the J2EE based modules / components that are part of the larger platform from inception to production deployment.
Job Roles / Responsibilities:
Lead by example on architecture best practices on J2EE, incremental, test driven development.
Hands on Development of product using Java technology
