Technical/Functional Skills      •           7 + years extensive experience in the Data Warehousing Environments •           Good understanding of database client/server configuration on Oracle 9i/10g/11g, SQL Server 2000/2005 and DB2. •           5+ years Extensive experience writing Database Triggers, Stored Procedures, Functions and Packages using PL/SQL. •           Experience in other DBA activities like creating Tables, Complex Views, Public Synonyms, and Database Links. •           Strong PL/SQL programming for data population and table alterations, Oracle Performance tuning/ SQL tuning and query optimization skills. •           Expertise in Informatica 8.x / 9.x •           Experience working with data modelers to translate business rules/requirements into conceptual/logical dimensional models and worked with complex de-normalized and normalized data models •           5+ Years Experience in working with Unix Shell scripts. •           Experience working on Onsite/Offshore Model •           Good expertise in all the stages of Full software development life cycle implementation (SDLC) •           Expertise in Unit Testing, Integration, Functional, System, Performance, Load, Regression Testing and Validation Testing •           Proficient in preparing Technical Design Documents and Unit Test Documents •           Provided support all through the System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing phases •           Strong Coding and debugging skills. Self motivated team player with good communication skills. •           Strong analytical and problem solving skills coupled with excellent written, verbal and inter-personnel communication skills. •           Strong communication and business analyst skills – ability to work with a variety of stakeholders i.e. application owners, directors, architects, and DBAs across the enterprise and help the project manager with sequencing the project activities and conduct feasibility analysis and requirements gathering from business owners
