QA Software Engineer
• Evaluate, develop and implement appropriate quality systems for
Bioinformatics and Software development/manufacturing. Review customer
complaints, analyze data for trends and recommend corrective action. •
Participate on Project teams for new product introduction. Provide QA
expertise to the teams for the development of robust design
requirements, risk analysis and validation/quality plans and ensures
that requirements for Design Control are met and Design History files
are maintained and well documented. • Evaluate software for
robustness. This will require understanding the business and
scientific goal of the software and how functionality of the software
fits into the goals. • Assist in developing and reviewing software
specifications, test plans and test protocols. • Review and approve
software validations. • Review end-user software manuals for accuracy.
BS in Computer Science with 3-5 years of relevant SQA and or test case
design experience. Requires a strong working knowledge of QSR/GMP and
software QA methods. Written and oral communication skills are
essential. Requires strong organizational and planning skills,
attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple projects.
