Software Quality Assurance Engineer

* Analyze specifications and user stories * Interview Business
Analysts, Product Owners, Developers, other QA-Doc personnel *
Research pertinent information related to the assigned scope of work *
Design and write test cases * May identify test cases that are
suitable for automation * May develop automation test scripts *
Execute manual and automated test cases * Identify defects and
questionable functions; manage defects through to closure * Identify
deviations from coding and other standards and inconsistencies across
programs * Prepare own schedule based on business priorities * Learn
and stay current on NG policies, procedures and standards; abide to
established standards and processes * May be involved in configuration
management * Participate in team, project (e.g., Agile), and process
related meetings and activities * Participate in peer review of
documentation

* >3 Yrs software testing, information technology, or related
experience * Knowledgeable in testing methods and standards *
Knowledge of SCRUM/Agile methodologies * Knowledge of database
management system(s) * Knowledge of MS operating systems, and basic
scripting and programming * Strong verbal and written communications
skills * Strong analytical and problem solving skills * Strong team
player * Good organization skills. Must be able to handle multiple
tasks concurrently

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Science,
Management Information System or a related field or equivalent-related
job experience
