Position: Cloud Integration Developer

Description
The responsibilities for the Cloud Integration Developer role include
the following:
• Act as a subject matter expert for
integrating with client through the published API's.
• Define the integration landscape and
identify gaps between current and target states.
• Collaborate with project managers to
propose robust solutions to integrate client into third-party IT
infrastructure and meet Customer requirements.
• Support the development of custom user
interfaces via the client's API.
• Lead the technical implementation of API
Client and middleware developments.\
• Develop deployment workflows and
provisioning orchestrations
• Develop custom user interface widgets to
render custom data into the Client dashboard
• Analyzing performance characteristics in
API-based systems.
• Coaching customer and partner teams to
use the Client API's and ensure success.
• Work with Client's Support team to assist
with technical queries and troubleshooting.
• Interfacing with Client's Product
Management to communicate API enhancement requests.
The ideal candidate has a technical background and experience that includes:
• A minimum of 5 years of experience
providing software engineering and customer support.
• The Ruby, PHP and JavaScript programming languages.
• RESTful and SOAP web programming models.
• JSON and XML data collection processing.
• Cloud provider API's (e.g. EC2,
RackSpace, SoftLayer) and libraries (e.g. Fog).
• Secure software engineering practices.
• Experience in Agile software development practices.
Education and Certifications:
• Familiarity with the Client management platform.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent.

• Self-starter and self-managing work
style; Capable of working from home or remote locations without direct
supervision.
• Be available for business travel and
partial mobility as customer projects require.
• Open minded, flexible and adaptable to
