Position: SQL Server Developer 

Location:  Marshalltown, IA

Duration: 6 - 12 months

Extension Possible

Skill: MS SQL Server 2008 & 2005, SQL Server BI Development Tools

Job Description:

· Help developer download data from Oracle to SQL

· Assists developer /system Analysts in the development and creation of SQL and Web-based databases and database systems

· Develops and enforces database administration and user standards and procedures

· Audits, modifies, and amends data in systems using SQL commands, hand-editing, and bulk import

· Oversees the scheduling of database projects, database and transaction log backups, notifications, and database replication between multiple SQL Servers and remote sites

· Evaluates database server integrity and security

· 3-5 years' experience in Microsoft SQL Server Technologies,

· Hands on experience with ETL, SSRS and SSIS

· Working knowledge or previous administration of SQL 2000+, SQL 2005 and SQL 2008R2

· Performance tuning for SQL server, queries, stored procedures, views, etc.

· Proven ability to quickly learn and implement new technologies

.  Knowledge on BI/ETL would be added advantage
