Position: Java Flex Developer

Location: NYC

Duration: 6 months

Description:

A Java developer with Web experience, preferably with Flex is needed to work in the Firm Risk Management IT team that supports the Risk Management department which is responsible for monitoring, measuring and communicating risks generated by COMPANY's business lines.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, building systems in a multi-tier environment.

Strong Java and Web development experience is essential.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities will include working in a 3-5 member team developing, maintaining and supporting solutions using Flex, core Java, Spring, and DB2 UDB.

 

Skills Required

 - 3+ years experience in Java, Spring

- 3+ years experience with FLEX

- 3+ years Database Design/Stored Procedure/SQL development (DB2 UDB, Oracle, Sybase etc.)

- 3+ Years Linux/Unix/ksh/Perl experience.

- Excellent analytical ability

- Strong collaboration and communication skills
