Job Title :Sybase DBA
Location :Sparks, MD (Just North of Baltimore, MD)
Duration :3-6 Months

 

Description:

One of our customers, a very strong/stable company is in need of an experienced Sybase DBA for a contract position. 

 

Required Skills:
-  Primary experience should be with Sybase (ASEv12.5, ASEv15).  Would prefer a high level of experience.
-  Need experience with Sybase replication server as well.
-  Shell scripting
-  Looking for this person to handle daytime on call activities, maintenance work, and possibly project activities.
-  Other helpful (but not required) skills:  SQL Server, Oracle, DBArtisan
-  Must have good communication skills, be able to work with minimal direction and have initiative.
