Job Description:   
Location: Tallahassee, FL (Need Only Local to Tallahassee candidates)
Duration: 9 Months

Please submit at least 3 references along with consultants resume.

Required Skills/Experience/Education:
Ø  Minimum Experience required is 10 years and Business analysis 8 years.
Ø  Knowledge of business processes in the medical field in general and for county health departments in particular
Ø  Experience gathering, documenting and communicating user requirements
Ø  Experience in training and mentoring
Ø  Experience working in a collaborative environment
Ø  Understanding of IT development and practices
Ø Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ø Ability to communicate effectively with technical, program and end user staff
ØBachelor's degree in an area of information technology or public health

Preferred:

Ø  Experience implementing health care systems
Ø  Experience with health programs in an ambulatory care setting
Ø  Experience with the DOH Health Management System (HMS)
Ø  Advanced degree in MIS or public health
Ø  Project Management Professional (PMP)

Ø  Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
Ø  Certified Public Manager (CPM)


Major Duties:

* This position will facilitate the participation of county health department (CHD) clinicians in the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services' (CMS) Electronic Health Record Incentive Program. 

* This position will contribute to the Department's EHR adoption goals of facilitating patient care, meeting mandated public health requirements for the State of Florida and maximizing incentive dollar earnings by supporting the adoption and meaningful use of the DOH Electronic Health Record (EHR).
