[Outsource:63875] Need Oracle SQL Server DBA - Houston, TX

Position: Oracle SQL Server DBA

Location: Houston, TX

Duration: 1 + Year

 

• Should have worked extensively on Production systems

• Installation & Configuration of MS SQL Server 2005 & 2008

• Performance monitoring (SQL profiler, Performance dashboard, Perfmon, Spotlight, etc)

• Strong working knowledge on Database Mirroring, Replication, Log Shipping and Clustering (Build, Roll, maintenance & troubleshooting)

•  Backups, Restores and DR solutions

•  Server monitoring (MOM, SCOM, Tivoli, BMC etc)

•  Experience on SQL Server 2012 would be added advantage

• Installation of oracle 9i/10g/11g single instance and Multinode RAC

• Installation and Administration of  Oracle Data guard on Oracle 9i/10g/11

• End-to-end  Database administration in various Oracle RDBMS versions  on both Production and Non-Production systems

•  Instance level and Database level tuning

•  Query tuning preferable but not mandatory

•  Deep Understanding of Capacity utilization

•  Appropriate certifications for both MS SQL Server and Oracle  will be an added advantage
