Education Required:

-Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technologies, or related field preferred

- 5 to 7 years of experience in software development, with 2 years in developing integration solutions with MQ Broker.

 

Job Summary:

MQ Broker Developer will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing MQ Broker integrations along with the review, analysis, modification, creation, documentation, and unit testing of MQ Broker integration components.

 

Job Description or Skills Needed:

-Develop quality integration solutions utilizing IBM MQ and Broker technologies, creating reusable message flows and services while conforming to existing naming and coding standards.

- Specialize and continue to build knowledge in the integration technologies utilized by the team in order to provide the best technical implementation for the solution, primarily including MQ, Broker, Java, eSQL, Oracle RDBMS, stored procedures, and relational databases.

- Experience in using different parsers like XMLNSC, MRM, TDS, BLOB.

- Experience using MQ, SOAP, HTTP, File and Compute nodes in Message Broker.

- Develop according to standards, specs and guidance. Utilize reference implementations, frameworks and other reusable components.

- Understanding of SDLC methodologies and related artifacts

- Ability to work in fast paced environment without significant supervision

- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, candidates must be able to communicate with team members
