Job Discription:
The selected candidate will be responsible for driving SAP application footprint in a virtualized platform/technology. The selected candidate will assist the client's team in establishing an SAP platform strategy and associated Solution Blueprint plan for the Business Transformation effort underway. The selected candidate will provide strategic insight and technical expertise of the SAP platform options and help guide the client with defining the objectives, scope, methodology, and conceptual architecture deliverables for the platform strategy and solution blueprinting of the future SAP environment. The consultant will assist the client's project team in performing the necessary analysis and document findings for the assessment of the SAP technology landscape with the following goals:

Reduce complexity by providing a more efficient and simpler landscape
Improve the manageability and flexibility of the SAP environment
Improve the scalability of the SAP environment

Requirements:
10+ years of experience as a SAP technical architect with focus on architecting a platform solution using SAP to achieve defined business transformation outcomes
Proven Expertise with SAP platform deployment analysis and concept
Expertise with SAP application and infrastructure architectures, SAN, platform
technologies including Windows, UNIX, Linux, and VMware virtualization solutions for SAP
Expertise with network solutions required to support SAP application architectures, such as load balancers, reverse proxy servers, and SAP web dispatchers
Experienced in SAP Virtualization, High Availability Design, and Disaster Recovery solutions
Prior experience in large Business Transformation project involving SAP technology selection
Demonstrated experience with SAP platform strategies
Demonstrated experience with SAP landscape and infrastructure optimization - Experience in post-production support tools and methodologies (Disaster Recovery, Backup/restore, job scheduling, software/hardware monitoring)
Demonstrated ability to present and articulate issues and solutions to Senior Management
Demonstrated experience with project management methodologies and tools -SAP virtualized platform--how it runs in a virtualized platform -IT services--backup and recovery
