Position Overview:

Smalltalk development in support of the Integrator Provisioning and Fault Management  program.  This project is a 5 year conversion effort to move all of their IP products over to the Cramer system.  They are moving product by product and this is a national effort.  The manager mentioned that these technologies are used a lot in Banking, Utilities and Communications industries.

 

Skills Required:

·         OO Analysis & Design Skills

·         CINCOM (Visual Works 7.x Smalltalk is preferred)

·         Oracle PL/SQL, Webservices, XML, SOAP, UML

·         Strong communication skills

·         Oracle RDBMS or other RDBMS experience

 

** VisualWorks is a cross-platform implementation of the Smalltalk language.  It is implemented as a development system based on "images", which are dynamic collections of software objects, each contained in a system image.
