Position: Senior Storage Operations Specialist
Location: Branchburg, NJ
Duration: 6 Months

Purpose: Senior Storage Operations resident with experience in NetApp, EMC Centera, and EMC Cloud
Tiering Appliance (CTA). EMC CTA was previously known as the Rainfinity File
Management Appliance (FMA)
1. CTA (FMA) archiving experience including stub recall experience.
2. Some CTA troubleshooting experience including obtaining and reading logs.
3. Be familiar with CTA reporting tools.
4. Be familiar with NetApp, particularly the role and operation of Policy in archiving
5. Be Familiar with Centera.
Tasks:
Candidate will be responsible for
1. managing archive recall from Centera back to NetApp using CTA
2. examining reporting from CTA on recalls and reconciliation these with NetApp reports
3. working with CTA Engineering to resolve reporting discrepancies and any other
inconsistent CTA behavior toward ensuring integrity of recall
4. Assistance with decommissioning CTA in customer environment
Skills Hardware: Centera, NetApp
Skills Software: EMC Cloud Tiering Appliance (CTA).
