Job Title: Senior Java Programmer

Location: Boston, MA

Client: leading financial services organization

Duration: 6 months plus

Start-Date: ASAP

Candidate needs to be on our W2

Responsibilities :

• Develops, modifies, integrates, and maintains software solutions. Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents programs.
• Provides business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications.
• Uses business knowledge to translate the vision for divisional initiatives into business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications.
• Conducts studies of alternatives; analyzes and recommends changes in project development policies, procedures, standards, and strategies to development experts and management.
• Work with minimal supervision
• Determines and develops approaches to solutions

Requirements:

·         Must have 6+ years of Java development experience

·         Must have experience in the following tools/technologies

o   Object Oriented design

o   JDBC

o   Oracle, SQL

o   Spring framework

o   iBatis/myBatis

o   Java Multithreading

o   Restful/SOAP web services development

o   XSD, WSDL, XML,

o   Maven

o   Unix Scripting

·         Hands-on experience practicing Continuous Integration and Test-Driven-Design principles

·         Below skills would be a plus

o   Clear case

o   Hudson (Continuous Integration)

o   Tomcat

o   Hibernate
