Job Title: Oracle DBA
Location: St. Louis, MO
Duration: 6+months
 

GC, US Citizen.

Must Haves:
5-7 of Oracle DBA admin Experience
Experience with Patching, install, and performance tuning
Oracle Development Experience
Experience with Oracle 10g and 11g
SQL Server Experience
Experience writing query's
Great Communication
Experience working with PM's

 

Plusses:

 

Team Player BE MOTIVATED! She doesn't want to babysit people and answer questions all day
Experience with Real Application Cluster (RAC)
Oracle ASO (Advanced security Option)
Data Encryption experience
Bachelor's degree (computer science or Bus Admin)

 

Day to Day: Each day will consist of work based off emails and special projects. They will be a assigned to a number of different projects form the application team. They will be a project lead for each specified project and will coordinate with the storage teams, windows serve team, and application teams. They will also troubleshoot tickets and perform patching. The rest of their day will consist of documenting and scripting. They will also work closely with the application development teams to do configuring, installing, and upgrading applications.  60% Hands on scripting, patching, and performance tuning 40% Coordinating projects and communicating with the team. This person doesn't need to have lead experience but be able to step up if need be.
