The Information Protection Office within IT needs to fill a 12-month IT Services Consultant position. The candidate with the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities will need to start ASAP. Work Summary The candidate filling this IT Services Consultant position will perform as a member of the Information Protection Office (IPO) Identity Services team. The candidate's primary role will be to support the Director of Information Security and Sr. IT Architect responsible for supporting Active Directory services outside of normal contracted responsibilities (via 3rd party service provider). | Comments | Responsibilities The ideal candidate will be responsible for: • Come up-to-speed quickly on the 4 distinct ETS domains and various environments used to support them. • Develop a clear understanding of how 3rd party COTS and ETS custom applications interact with ETS directories over LDAP, both in Java and MS-based applications. • Assume day-day engineering responsibilities for AD above/beyond 3rd party service provider contracted responsibilities. o In lower environments, this is directory ownership and everything short of recovering a corrupted directory or VM. o In production, it's providing guidance, requesting changes and acting as intermediary. • Optimize 3rd party service provider support of AD via clear role definition process efficiencies. • Transition lower environment AD infrastructure from a VM server Lab environment to ETS's Cloud Compute solution, wherever possible. • Provide guidance and support in all environments for infrastructure and architecture during the major upgrade of 2 domains from W2K3 à W2K8. • Participate in architectural discussions and support design efforts as needed for both application teams and the Enterprise Architecture Office • Serve as a project directory resource as required for Identity Services, which includes Oracle Identity Manager (OIM), Oracle Access Manager (OAM) and Oracle Identity Federation (OIF) o Assist in managing operational support of Identity Services from a directory perspective. • Provide guidance to application teams requiring directory services and act as liaison between them and 3rd party service provider where required. • Coordinate support and escalations (3rd party service provider) for issues in Development through Production directory environments. o Diagnose, report on, resolve, document and/or escalate technical issues • Manage and support directory data needs, including schema management, object management, and test data management. • Document the ETS directory infrastructure environment. • Document (and define where necessary) processes that surround the directories, e.g. change requests. o Identify process risks or gaps and offer solutions to address these. Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Experience: The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years experience with Windows Active Directory 2003 or higher. Working knowledge of and experience in Oracle's Identity and Access Management suite is a big plus. Experience working on large-scale projects, deployments and operational support experience is also preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 1. 3 years of Windows Active Directory 2003 or higher utilizing the LDAP ? engineering and administrative 2. 3 years of working with Windows Server 2003 or higher from a Domain Controller perspective ? engineering and administrative 3. 3 years of Authentication and Authorization Tools ? engineering and administrative 4. 3 years of experience with Security Policies and implementation 5. Working knowledge of Oracle Identity and Access Management suite 8. Ability to work with external partners and off-shore resources 9.
