We are looking for an "OBIEE Architect"
Location: New York, NY
Duration: 6 Months contract or CTH
The role is accountable and responsible for OBIEE technology platform for the Firm. Qualified Finance and HR - OBIEE Architect candidate with seven to ten years of experience can
i) Provide technical and project oversight and for all new OBIEE enhancement projects within the Firm
ii) Brainstorm, design and propose technical solutions to meet business needs
iii) Provide appropriate negotiation and/or push back based on the OBIEE technical knowledge to various sponsors
iv) Understand the needs of sponsor requests and setup the appropriate project teams to handle the requests
vi) Ensure successful delivery and quality of all projects under portfolio by actively participating in the Sprint Reviews, Project Kickoffs, Project Initiation, Staffing and Project closure activities
vii) Responsible for the OBIEE product life cycle including Support, Product costs, product platforms and various internal interfaces
vii) Maintain a keen focus on maximizing business value, prioritizing the right projects to start and ensuring minimal time to market
viii) Effectively collaborate with and manage stakeholders/sponsors expectations, escalations and relationships
Required Technical Skills & Experience
· Strong OBIEE technical expertise within an IT enterprise
· Infrastructure knowledge including Single Sign On, LDAP, Oracle
· Experience of using EBS products for OBIEE
· Strong experience using Dataware house Administer Control and Informatica
· Experience using toolsets like BI publisher, Analysis and MS integration
· Knowledge of agile software development process applied to OBIEE projects is a plus
Familiarity with Test Driven Development, performance metric tools, various testing frameworks and automated testing
· Minimum of 10 years experience in software development and integrating business solutions
· Minimum of 4 years of experience in OBIEE with EBS exposure
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing dataware housing solution
· Master's/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent subject
