Key Responsibilities:
The engineering team at Client is seeking a self-motivated engineer who is passionate about quality and innovation in automation, white-box and exploratory testing. The role will require:
Working closely with local development/QA team(s) in a high bandwidth environment.
Working well with remote teams using your excellent written, verbal and organizational skills.
Planning, authoring, debugging, executing and reporting tests.
Prompt identification and escalation of defects; working with cross site and cross functional product teams to isolate problem; and tracking the issues to complete resolution.
Evaluation and selection of testing tools.
Test tool development as necessary.
Automation framework development or modification as necessary.

Expertise in one of the following languages: C++, C#, VB, Java, Python, Perl. (Java/C++ preferred)
Strong understanding of Microsoft operating systems and applications.
Strong root cause analysis experience.
Schedule estimation (of tasks), and on-time delivery against those schedules.
Strong understanding of QA processes and concepts including test case preparation, and testing methodologies.
Ability to quickly learn, and become proficient with complex applications, understanding their interactions with other installed products, and how they operate within an overall system.
Network configuration and management, including a strong knowledge of networking infrastructure and technologies.
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Candidate must be self-motivated with a strong desire to continually grow technical expertise.
Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
