Location:  McLean, VA (preferred) or Norfolk, VA
Duration:  6 Months+

 

Rate :$45/hr on C2C OR 1099
GC AND US Citizen.

Location: McLean, VA (preferred) or Norfolk, VA
Bill Rate Range to Harvest: Please submit your consultant at the best rate possible (Please do not e-mail asking for a rate range)
Start Date: ASAP   

 

HEADLINE: 5+ yr. Perf Eng w/extensive admin/testing exp. using HP Perf Ctr 11.x; LoadRunner; basic knowledge of C/C++/J2EE prog/Perl scripting for Unix/Linux systems to write scripts; exp. w/a monitoring tool; who will work in McLean or Norfolk, VA on a contract through Dec '14.

 

Requirements:
5+ years of performance testing experience in a high-tech environment.
Extensive administration / testing experience using HP Performance Center 11.x.
Experience utilizing LoadRunner.
Must have basic knowledge of C / C++ / J2EE programming or Perl scripting for Unix or Linux operating systems in order to write scripts. Advanced programming skills for manipulating scripts is a strong plus.
Experience with a monitoring tool ( Splunk is preferred ).
The right blend of technical and business analysis skills to ensure successful implementations.
Understanding of various front end application architectures and the tier to tier communications.
Measurement points of various systems and metrics for analysis of issues and risk.
Thorough understanding of distributed systems, Internet principles and statistical data analysis.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment that could require some long hours.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
