Position: Desktop Support Consultant with Windows 7 upgrade
Location: Hartford, CT
Duration: 6-8 months
· Drive completion of Windows 7 upgrade
· Partner with client partners to ensure successful closure of deployments and project objectives.
· Drive infrastructure tasks across engineering and operations organizations to closure
· Ensure successful enterprise project closure
· Planning and completion of Windows 7 upgrade and integration as part of acquisition project
· Drive application identification and rationalization of desktop and server applications
· Drive application remediation for desktop and server applications
· Map users to resource topology (desktop/server applications, file and data shares, other backend dependencies)
· Coordinate technical activity across engineering and operational areas
