SOFTWARE QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST
Major responsibilities include (not all inclusive):
Must be capable of evaluating software and associated documentation. Participates in formal and informal reviews to determine information technology quality and in the development of software quality assurance plans. Examines and evaluates the SQA process and recommends enhancements and modifications. Develops information technology quality standards. Executes test quality assurance responsibilities and associated functions for projects (requirements, risk assessment, estimating, test approach, reviews, overall organization and coordination of testing activities, implementation handoff, post elevate support, analyst support, usability, etc.).
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (education, experience, skills)
Education: B.A. or B.S. degree in an information technology, or related discipline, which could include Computer Science, Information Systems (IS) or Management Information Systems (MIS). In lieu of a degree, at least 5 years in a professional IT-related and/or business-related role. Basic Experience: Must have 4 years of experience working with IT quality control methods and tools. Specialized Experience: At least 2 years of experience in software testing and integration and a demonstrated knowledge of system and project life cycles.
