Kal raat akelay me

shayad kuch warq jala

Uth'te huwe sholo;n me

Aa raha tha.

 Jhuka k Sar wo

Aansu baha raha tha.

Aise me kisi ne Guzarte huwe pucha,

Pagal kitab jala

rahe ho

Tarap kr bola

nahi,

Khwab jala raha hoon

Ik Be-wafa ka Nisab

jala raha hoon.

Bahut takleef

deti hai Us ki be-wafai,

To Aaj us ki Sari yadon

ko mita raha hoon.
